I gotta say I am glad the Nationals lost a FA sweepstakes for once. Jayson Werth’s contract may seem awful but his can’t cripple a franchise, but Fielder’s can when coupled with one like Jayson’s. Fielder and Boras got their wish though: a mega deal. I do wish Prince luck and I do wish that the industry eventually finds a way (peacefully) to rid itself of Boras, but that is a rant for another day. For now, I’m happy if the Nats can get a healthy year out of LaRoche that lines up with his career averages. Also there is that kid hit the ball really far that one time…what was his name? Bryce was it?

Well, I’ll be dammed. Tebow was in Vegas and even TM-freakin-Z couldn’t find dirt on the guy.
The Denver Broncos quarterback was spotted strolling through the Bellagio hotel last night along with his brother and a friend … after catching a performance of the Cirque du Soleil show, “O.”
We spoke to Tebow’s rep … who told us Tim was in town for a Nike photo shoot … and was only in Vegas for the day.
We’re told Tebow didn’t gamble, didn’t party, and definitely didn’t attend the big AVN porn convention that happens to be going on down the street.HE DIDN’T EVEN GO TO THE PORN CONVENTION DOWN THE STREET?!?!?!??!?!?
This kid’s got the will power of a million nuns! (Also, their throwing ability.)

R.I.P. Sarah Burke Sept 3, 1982 - January 19, 2012
The skiing/snowboarding world lost an incredible talent today. Sarah Burke was one of the biggest advocates to get freestyle skiing into the Winter Olympics, where they will debut in 2014. She would have been one of the front runners to win.
Such a tragedy.
